Just Wanted to Say...

...that this makes management and navigation so much easier. Comments are easier to track. And new blogs are up for longer, which is good, too.

New Comments link

Since the New Comments page is important to many members, we have restored a link on the home page.

We will evaluate the use of this page, and will remove the page if it causes problems.

Compromise

At least with the comments off the front page, they don't grab your attention first thing.  Should at least help with first impressions.

However, I had heard they were going away entirely.  What happened?

I agree with workinprogress..the focus of the site should be on blogs not on new comments

I dig it.

It'll take folks some getting used to, but hopefully people will get back to reading blogs and writing blogs, rather than reading comments and writing comments.

I liked reading comments. It often inspired me to read blogs.
