Tamara, the trouble was the 'fun' of the place, difficult to study.
Thanks for reading and commenting.

Good story
I loved what she did with her blind friend.  Interesting.

It scares me how little we can really know someone.
Even those we think we know well.  I think it holds true as to knowing ourselves sometimes, too.  Maybe that's why all is not available for someone else to know, because it takes a lifetime...or more than one...to discover it ourselves.  Odd girl, wonderful story.  I avoided the dorm, but still had a roommate that used to make Tang so often in the wee hours of the morning, I started incorporating the stirring spoon into my dreams.  Another would burst into my room at 7 in the morning while I was sleeping to ask me if I unloaded the dishwasher.  Characters.  Love em.  Don't want to live with them anymore, but love em.

I don't know, but I want to go there.  *lol*  Sounds like more fun than either of the schools I went to.

Tamara, the details that we let escape about ourselves, our secrets.
We do not know each other, tho' I pretty much put myself out there with my roommates and let them know me, intimately. I thought that we knew her somewhat, but no. Her replacement in our dorm room was another fascinating girl....she went down the facade of the building, out our window from the ninth floor, having been kicked out of a sorority for doing this same thing, on a special fire chain ladder, down to her boyfriend's arms! Put wigs on her pillows, stuffed her bed sheets and asked us to say that she was there. Wild!

Benzinha -

I sometimes wonder if we know anyone at all.  I learned things about my mother and grandmother after they died that I had never had a clue about - nothing scandalous, mind you - but details, nonetheless, that you would think would have come up in 28 years.

Phaedre sounds like a fascinating person, to whomever she would let get to know her - her relationship with the blind guy, and the switching roles is interesting.
