I don't think it's wrong to quote from someone else's blog, either partially or in its entirety, so long as the originally blog is referenced immediately.

Plaigarism, Homage, or Quote?

I would refer someone or post a link to the site where I had found it (as I did with the article about the fellow who did both "LZ XRAY" [real scene of "We Were Soldiers Once...."] and twin towers [didn't make it]). If it was material or imperative to the literary flow, I might quote and attribute.  Having short term memory issues and a nonexistent conscience, I might occasionally accidentally veer onto someone else's turf, especially if (and I don't) I had many works going, plus blogs. If I were to do something like that and it affected you, I should feel beholden to you to help keep me from being thought of as a plaigerist or dunce.

I admire and applaud you for settling this like considerate gentlepeople. And the second offense should be terminal!
