Temple, majroj called this place a confessional and I shall use it that way
trying to give warning to the young about not being as superficially self-indulgent as I was. Though at the time, I loved each one sincerely for as long as I was with them.......

Wiley, I ashamed to say that I have an 'Irish' tale to tell, too.........

but that's another blog post on another day. I'm afraid to kiss anyone but Mom and the grandkids anymore. It gets a woman into so much complicated trouble and I'm too tired to even think about it anymore. I have kissed enough fellows for seven women, being an old hippie love child. Embarrassing, but true.

It's why I live in my present Nun's Life now, doing penance and asking the Gods' forgiveness for youthful over-indulgence.

Abuelita! You were so wild!
I knew you were my kind of woman.  I never saw it as loose behavior, but as natural behavior.  Now, as an adult, I still want to devour them all...so boy crazy, me.  For now, all attention on my sailor.  That's enough.  Finally, it's enough. :)

kyle510, something, huh? Then, I guess that I'd like your mom a lot....

so, just remember, when that little old lady with bent back and cane goes by, she was a hot ballroom dancing trophy winner, a race car driver, an old WAC pilot and some guys loved her legs and bright eyes, very much....in her good old days. And she, she loved and kissed them back while flashing those bright eyes.

attax, international living should be experienced once by all people, it

opens minds and eyes and teaches so much not available in books and films. If a person lives in only one other country for two years, they become 'other'. It affords them one other unique vantage point from which to view the people of their very own nation. It was difficult for me to speak with and identify with my ancient childhood friends who never left our small town, until I learned to fit in here again.

I still cannot just 'believe' everything that I hear and read in the US news. I read many Brasilian and Portuguese and even African POV's online and anything in Spanish, too. So much other press is available when you can add two more languages to your 'searches' about certain stories.

I enjoyed reading about six of your posts and though I didn't always agree with you, as I disagree with others that I read, I like the variety that you afford me on the network. Thanks for coming to read me.

hell yes, they were delicious.  back in the days before every relationship had some infinitesimal number of complications and strings and baggage...things were yummy back then.

Coming from the Mistress of Words, I humbly bow to your praise.

Really, remember all those boys and how delicious they all were??!?!? Oh, you're still young, nevermind......Thanks for calling me a storyteller, it is my dream.

between the title and such gems as "experiments in loose behaviour" you definitely have a way with words...this was a great piece; your words so effortlessly transport me back to when i was that age...brought a smile to my lips.  i don't know many people who can tell stories quite like you, benzinha...

Ak, I used to devour them in big bites and chew them to squishy pulp
and then either swallow or spit them out spinning across the floor. Now, I'm old and rested and unwilling to peruse that buffet table any longer. Sigh......shall go sip some soup and have a little tea, I think, and just  r e m e m b e r ........

so, AK, you appreciate tenors and altos, huh? I always liked percussionists
and dancers. Memoirs of a Minor Jungle Queen, then?

you are not allowed

to NOT write your memoirs!

Reminds me of my "Glee Club Grand Slam," when I did my level best to date at least member of the Notre Dame Glee Club in each voice part.
