I have high expectations of all people.
I am shocked by both the beheading and the prison abuse. However, I am far more sickened by the murder of an innocent person for someone elses gain. Now, along witht the terrorists, the Dems are trying to use Berg's death as gain. With that I am also shocked and sickened.

Expectations play a part...
If we expect OUR people to be civilized, then it is a shock and travesty when they are not. If we expect others to act as "terrorists" then their acts do not carry as much shock value. That does not mean they are not horrible - just not as shocking.
