My hubby's parents are in their late 70's, so we moved to rosamond to be w/

them, and John got a promotion offer, but in Ridgecrest, so here we are.

It's just culture shock, I was born just outside Detroit and lived there my whole life, 27 years, then moved to the desert.

Not liking Cal City?  Why didn't you move to Palmdale.  It definitely has more to offer.  I know how you feel.  I moved there in 1984 when there was probably a total of 80,000 people between Edwards, Rosamond, Lancaster, and Palmdale.  I remember when the started laying the foundation of the Antelope Valley Mall.  I miss those days. Of course I was just a child then.  I'm looking forward to life in LA when I get out.

Hang in there!
Writing is important, but the most important thing is those 3 people causing all of that ruckus behind you. My computer is sitting in a place that allows for some quiet time, but my family bugs me to go outside and play or they just come in to chit-chat. Hubby likes playing computer games, and bugs me to do this with him a lot. They are always first. Half of my writing is inspiration from them and their antics. Good luck.
