85 years old!!!?? Wow excellent post. I loved hearing about how things were and how they've changed in your viewpoint. I can't wait to read more. My grandmother and I sit talking for hours about how life has changed. Lately she's been telling me exploits. She was a "Wild" girl. Hehehe. (I've put you in my favorites. Great job!)

Hi Talion
Hi Talion,
I totally agree with you! I plan to write more on the issue of women's equality very soon, so please check back in on my blog periodically.
Thanks for reading. Please give your wife a BIG hug and a kiss for being so dedicated to caring for others! She is truly making a difference. She and all women deserve equality.

I agree that the roles of women have certainly changed for the better for women. My wife works in a hospital and makes more money than I do. There once was a times when a situation like this wouldn't and couldn't happen. The woman's movement still has a long way to go, however. It's a sad fact that women are often paid less than men for doing the same job. Eventually, there will be true equality between the sexes, but it's still farther down the road.
