What exactly is the link between Iraq and 9/11?  I keep asking that question and have yet to receive an answer with definitive proof in it.  You seem confident in your post that the war in Iraq is commendable because it is defeating terrorists -where is the proof of that?

I agree that there were atrocities committed under Sadaam and I'm outraged about those as well, but Iraq never prided itself on defense of human rights - there's no surprise there.  When a country such as the US that has consistently lauded itself on the value of human rights fails to provide them to its prisoners, that is surprising. 

Should we be appalled at what Sadaam's regime did?  Absolutely.  Should we hold ourselves to higher standards?  Absolutely.  Don't we keep saying we're the best country in the world?  We need to prove it.
