I understand busy for sure. I sound upbeat? It's funny, I think I go there as a defense mechanism. I'm okay, but some really serious stuff going on in my world right now. And, of course, I miss the Lieutenant. ;)

beedle - well, I talk to myself all the time at home
why not here, too? My Aunt was so cool, she said get her checked out and then I'll take her. She is a kitty person like me, but I keep it to two for the sanity of one of mine, Scrapper (and the money issues). She has 3 and a neighbor cat that comes over....and a dog. It's not ideal, but I feel like it's better. I'm so picky about where I place animals, I have to put my feelings aside. I feel kind of bad taking her away from the bay and the birds, but hopefully she will be happy.
Billy is so close. Everytime I get in my car all I think is...I could see him in 10 hours. I have to control myself. If things were different, I'd be in Texas right now.

you're so funny. I am so happy you found the kitty a place - i was a bit down when you told me you couldn't keep him. then I see to what extent you are willing to go to make a feline happy. here's to billy and you being neighbours.

Since no one else is commenting, I will so that I don't have to see that sad little zero at the bottom of this post. It's so good that you found a home for Maddie...I hope that happens really soon. Billy will call you soon, you know he misses you, too. You also know he's miserable at that Army base. Kiss the kids for me ;)
