I don't believe in the personification of what is called "Christ" -- it's a concept, not a person.
In case anyone is wondering -- the word "Perfect" as translated in King James in the passage "Be Ye perfect, as your father in heaven is also perfect." -- the Greek word is "mature" -- and "Be" really is "become" --
Actually we all are questioners and don't know it.
I think it's better to have an entire frontier ahead of us to explore than to settle for what has been constructed for us.

The Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil is The Law.
You know evil (sin) by the Law (Romans). Thus, if you know Evil, then you know that refraining from evil is good.
thus you know good and evil.
Those who make laws and those who enforce them are pretty much "as gods".
But it is not a sin to be "as God", because the Psalmist says "Ye are gods, and sons of the Most High."
I'm glad to be a god.

Wow, this is some of the creepest lies I've ever read...you are deceived.
You have bought into Satan's first lie in the Garden of Eden, "Ye shall be as gods..." You have accepted that "self" is what you trust. Jesus Christ was an actual person, the Son of God who died for our sins. I am amazed at the way you present these packaged lies and deception...simply amazed. Love ya anyway and I still believe in the freedom of speech. I am simply stating my opinions here and that is that Christ is coming again. The Word of God doesn't lie, but people do...I see it all over this network.

Turn to the Gospel of John, Chapter 3, please.
You will read there that "God is Spirit, and all that worship Him must do so in Spirit, and Truth."
God is Pneuma -- like the wind.
God is not an anthropormorphic idol on which we hang all our being.
Yeshua said the Law and the Prophets depends upon The Golden Rule.
This is worshipping in Spirit.
What does this have to do with Christ?
Christ is God. God is Spirit. We must worship Christ in Spirit -- like the wind -- in our minds -- with our minds -- with a whole new mindset, not as if Christ is a male anthropomorphic figure on which we hang our Salvation.

You're right about the "mis-definition" of Messiah, and about the number of Jews prior to Jesus who claimed to be Christ. A very important element in Gospel writing was distinguishing Jesus from the false Messiahs who preceded him.
