Spitfire and benz
I hear ya!  I always say if they really want to find bin Laden, all they need to do is feed my old Shepherd some beans and a few tacos and just point his ass at every cave in Afghanistan.  He'd flee eventually.  Imagine I have to live with it.

SpitFire, dog gas should be used as a weapon, could be used as a weapon.

Your Rottie sounds like my girls this week. It's all diet, I swear. when I have them on good dry food this doesn't happen to us. Wellllllll, rarely anyway.

I listen to one audio book at a time, unless I'm driving lots, then I have one in the car and one in the art studio. About one book every two days, I think. I absolutely devour books with my occupation, a seated prisoner chained to the worktable a minimum ten hours each day and sometimes sixteen.

I wish I had more time to read...

I can't concentrate on one book at a time, so I am always reading at least 3 books. I switch off every few days so I don't get bored. This book you reviewed sounds pretty good.

Oh, btw, I read your comments to Chris2303 regarding his pants fire and poo story and I was cracking up!! Poor you! I feel for ya. My Rottweiler constantly eats something (it's a mystery something) and wow! Whatever she eats out there becomes gas from the depths of hell. She can clear a room in 1.5 seconds. Maybe that's her plan! She can get the couch all to herself!

The Irish
The first poem I posted on here (since to say I'm a novice at poetry is putting it mildly) was not my own, but by the Irish poet Christy Brown.  They sure have a way with words.  And his story is pretty fascinating.

bridget, The Return Journey, shall search it out. Wish that I had a more
Irish attitude towards life or a more Mexican one, they are both fatalists with humor.

I read that book a few years ago.  I just bought her book "The Return Journey" at the big book store (my candy store)  Thursday at a $1 sale.  Looking forward to it.  I'm kind of a sucker for Irish myself.
