And what about the affect on the price of oil? I guess the oil shocks of the seventies were too long ago to remember. And the cost of reconstruction in Iraq? And if Saddam Hussein, like Osama bin laden, manages to slip away will we find another rogue dictator to pursue? There are too may pressing domestic issues to address. We should let the UN inspectors, (now that Iraq is willing) do their job before we jump into war and divert scarce resources to war efforts.
