Thanks for the compliment. I think you'll enjoy Card's discussions, particularly the longer ones where he uses examples from his own works and from his major influences to illustrate his points.
As for speaking your mind, I understand the need in a professional environment to either hold your tongue or couch your thoughts carefully. But here on Blogit I recommend you stick by your guns. If you can't say what you think and believe here, where else can you. I know speaking your mind can bring grief, but friends and acquaintances worth having should be willing to take us as we are. We should be able to accept differences of opinion and belief without pitching hissy fits and getting into shouting matches. Those who can't need to find a place where everything they say and do is taken as the right way to think and do things. I wish them lots of luck, and good riddance. You're worth scores of them any day, even when I may not agree with you. There is such a thing as agreeing to disagree. Many lifelong friendships exist because of acceptance of this principal. Don't let the few with bones to pick disturb you. They always seem to speak their minds while the silent majority chooses, sadly, to stay out of the battle. Remember, the majority of us both respect and support you. If we didn't we would have tired of you and discarded you long ago. Obviously, we haven't.
