Sometimes it is better to be alone than to constantly fight and worry about what you're going to say if she says this. I do know if you can get in a healthy relationship with someone, it can be nice.

The lack of closure issue sounds dreadful to deal with ...

it seems as if the apologising / saying she loves you stuff keeps it about her, rather than allowing your feelings to be respected / acknowledged, too.  Ouch.  I hope it all works out and that you reach a decision that brings you peace, either way.  All the very best Jimmy.

Venting is always healthy I think

...plus you've helped me see the other side as I sit here lonely and alone, and now grateful that I don't have the tension of constant bickering. Hope you figure it all out. They say you know when the good finally outweighs the bad, but I don't think we humans are always that smartand in touch with ourselves.
