I am in total agreement here, especially with the last statement. We (the West) have been fighting Muslims for hundreds of years, and, since most Islamic countries decided to stay circa 700 A.D. or so, we have had an upper hand in any confrontation. But not in the last hundred years. With the rise of radical militant Islamic factions, we find them not only embracing new technology but aggressively seeking to destroy anything that does not fit Islamic doctrine, combining the two in a quasi-guerilla terrorism that has become global in its reach. The United States (and its allies) has entangled itself now in a religious/political/territorial war that only promises to last forever (ask the Israelis about a forever war with Muslims) and have far greater consequences with each passing confrontation.

it is becoming obscene............as a Vietnam vet I urge everyone to Support the Troops, oppose the war.
