- Go to How Do Unupdated Blogs Remain On Top?
I've only been blogging for two weeks...
...yet I'm making friends and getting feedback like in no other on-line forum. However, many of my pieces have only a few comments. At first, I thought my uncommented pieces were going unnoticed, until my journal started climbing the ranks. Few comments, but many readers...I also take into consideration how many I read and never feel the need to comment, though I try to comment on at least one post of each blogger I read, just so they know I was there at least once. I blog to keep all my skills sharp: writing, reading, comprehending, thinking, communicating, understanding and, yes, even restraining.

I think the whole 'clique' thing is an urban legend of Blogit.

You have barely started. You know what, I'll give you a hint: enter MySoftHeart's poetry challenges. And then comment on other's posts so that you get noticed.

im not sure which i believe to be true. i have made a few friends here who have read some of my posts and comment but many of my poets go without comment and 1 blog of mine has 5 pages and 4 of the 5 have been completely ignored. so why, is it that there are too many pages to bother? or should i have more blogs? i did open a second blog with some of the poems not read in the other blog. but what is it that keeps my blogs unread? I really want to share my poetry and receive comments it means alot to me and its not happening fast enough for me, i guess i am impatient, or am i wasting my time? what is the right answer or should i say write answer?
