it's all a matter of what you are wanting to prove how good your blogs are - rankings or readings. Yes, rankings count in how popular and how well your blogs do, but what seems to matter re: money is the number of unique readers to your blog and who they are reading. If there is someone out there reading only you, although your ranking might not improve much, your earnings would, as you would be earning a hundred percent of their $3 on a daily basis. If one of the clique were reading you, but reading a thousand others you would only earn .3cents over a month.
Does that make sense? Its a theory anyhow, not sure if it is akll that logical once it is out of my head and onto the comments page!
