Just live! None of us know how much time is left for each and everyone of
us!

I'm with Beachbelle on this one

You have to live your life well, however much time you do or don't have.  Children are great.  And life is great.  I don't think I would not have kids even if there is a war because even a few years of love and joy would be more important than a few minutes of horror and death.  I feel that way for myself, and my loved ones as well.  So I don't worry too much one way or the other.  If war happens, then it happens, but don't plan your life around what ifs.

Since there is no other super power, it's doubtful if there will be a WWIII
in the immediate future;  when and if we become a second rate power, it's very possible someone will want to challenge us and then we'll see who lines up for and against.  Most likely there will always be religious wars of the kind going on now.  l.s.

What a poignant, almost haunting letter..
It recalls memories of 9-11 for me..My daughter and son, ages 22 and 20, left work and came to our home seeking comfort and reassurances that we weren't all going to die that day..so much fear and confusion that has been tamped down somewhat but you're right, incidents like the one you wrote about revive it. World War 3? I fear some of the Christian Right extremists in our country are actually clamoring for that. I just hope and pray cooler, saner heads prevail before it's too late. BB is right, live your life to the fullest!!

I am not sure if I am naive or optimistic
But I believe that you have to live your life to the full - living, loving, laughing and sometimes weeping.
Don't put life on hold for something which might never happen. People who must go and fight in these battles don't do it so that others live in limbo. They do it so others can live their lives.

As for World War III perhaps - or perhaps many smaller separate but simultaneous wars - but in the meantime live life,

What a precious letter! Thanks so much for sharing this with us. In my opinion, Yes, we are entering WWIII. This will be the last war and end life as we know it on our planet. Of course, life will go on, but not the way it has for these past thousands and millions of years.  Planet Earth and mankind was an experiment. It didn't work very well and may not be repeated.
