Mihail, I have noticed that in foreign countries I can get into heated
political, religious discussions and have everyone remain friends and get their points in. Not in America, as people here seem to fear one on one proclamations of deeply held and strongly defended beliefs. We are too politically retiscent (sp), too politely correct as to get heated in polite exchanges, fearing someone 'going off' on us. But, online, we sure do open up, letting go of those fences and lip governors.
