Frankly, I'm Shocked...
...by the killing, too, as i've written about today in my STOP THE WARS blog. But for different reasons to the ones you mention.
For me, this is yet another indication that Israel is off the rails when it comes to a supposedly civilised and just society, and continues to lead the world, with full US support, down a route where group-sponsored terrorism and state-sponsored terrorism is still terrorism, which inevitably costs the lives of innocent people.
I've seen too much of this tit-for-tat strategy played out in Northern Ireland, completely futile and very bloody. Israel and America need to grow up and start listening, rather than sending in the Apaches every time they need a 'victory'.
