I agree with just about everything you said... But Cold Creek Manor? Eh, way too predictible for me. There were zero surprises in this movie. I thought it was going to be a lot scarier, and a lot more interesting because of who was in it. However, I was severely disappointed. Dennis Quaid is great, but this movie was lame. You knew who the killer was the whole time. The biggest surprise was those stupid snakes, and they weren't scary at all. The family was so retarded in the way they handled that. Why would they go to the top of the house? Ugh. Anyway, you were definitely right about Cat in the Hat. I thought I was going to hate it, but I really liked it. I actually did see it in the theater for my man's little boy to watch. Also had to go the other night and watch Scooby Doo 2, which was tolerable, and funny at some points. Heck, it had more suspense than Cold Creek Manor! And I LOVED The Missing. Tommy Lee Jones always does a great job.
