I dig these kinds of blogs: bite-size blurbs that can spur a good conversation. I'll be reading because I too am a fan of the days of old; it'll be fun to remember these games with somebody.
Commenting on AFII, I can only remember playing the game in the lobby of an old Wal-Mart, but I definitely remember the upright cockpit that shook like all-hell when you crashed. I tried to play it again in a videogame compilation for my Sega Saturn but it certainly wasn't the same. You've gotta have that rudder jostling you like a roller-coaster to get the same experience.
