"Then there are other signs where I struggle to see the meaning. There's a good example going on right now. Twice in as many weeks I've found a bird lying dead outside by back door. They've both been unharmed, except for a head injury. Apparently, they've both flown full tilt into my conservatory window. Now, a straightforward viewpoint would suggest that the sun is rising at a particular point right now and is reflecting hard into that window, blinding the birds. (The fact it's never happened before and we've owned the property 15 years somewhat detracts from this theory, but anyway...) "

In dreams, dead birds are signs of failures or disappointments, back yards are secrets,  headaches/head trauma/beheading are signs that you have old wounds, something you are not seeing clearly.   

So....do have any old/secret failures or disappointments that are negatively affecting you because you aren't seeing them clearly?   Perhaps this is related to your sky dream.
