DWW . . .

. . . not an easy question, but an important one. Thanks for forcing us to consider an aspect of our online "personas" that some of us may not always think of.

. . . btw, this post is featured in my "snippet of the day" today . Check it out here.

Dances, I struggled with this question. I finally decided that I would leave or change names of my family and friends in what I wrote but I would write about what I wanted. There are things here that I've written that I don't want my kids to read, my erotic novel is the big one. I realized though that they can't log on here without a credit card. Once they are 18, if they want to know and they ask, "Hey Kay, are you a witch? I'll answer, "I'm Pagan and cast spells but usually only nice ones." I posted a picture but it just gives an idea of what I look like. I don't think anyone would recognize me from it unless they were at the Faire that day. .

As for my mental image of you, I keep thinking you are a guy. I don't know why. I have to remind myself that, no this is a girl. Then I get a picture of a woman with shiny, shoulder length, thick dark brown hair, cut all one length except for bangs. I see a nose that is a little thin at the tip but not pointed. Almond shaped eyes a little larger then normal but not anime large. Dark lashes, rounded cheek bones, a prominent chin with a slight dimple all set upon a oval shaped face with very little if any rose toned makeup.

My metal image of you when I see a guy is a young man of slight build. Dark brown almost black hair that is thin and straight cut short with the front sticking forward in a slightly spiky way. Same face as above except for the makeup.

I know for a fact someone on here is: recovering alcoholic (several people), alcoholic, virgin, slut, witch (we have 2)....so really, we already sort of know quite a bit about each other. We know where each of us lives and even what many of us look like.

Dances now this is a hard one!
Now that you asked ,I must keep this in mind when I read future pieces authored by you.I will get back to you on the picutre my mind paints. And sure, the more layers we reveal of ourselves, the closer we get to revealing our persona..........I can't say if that's a good thing or bad.........but  to say, perchance, it might interfere with  the reader's unbiased evaluation of a piece. In other words, being anonymous has its advantages, I suppose........
