good article. I don't know which is scarier; what we do hear about or nothing about...

Damon & Mjdanials.

Damon: the fact that the Bush family has had such close ties with the Bin Ladens and the Saudi royal family is never discussed in America. The media avoids mentioning it like the plague. Michael Moore (who else would do it?) pointed out how right after 9/11 when no American airplanes were allowed to fly, Bush provided aircraft and authorization for the Saudi families mentioned above. Just another Bush scandal that the media doesn't seem interested in.

mj: I haven't a clue as to what you are talking about. Iraq has done nothing to help in the battle to stop the proliferation or the availability of nuclear weapons. Saddam had none and if there is anything our invasion has done, it is to motivate the fanatical Al Qaeda to get some as soon as possible. The least we should expect from Bush was a clamp down on all known sources for those weapons. Instead, he has not done it.

Spy . . .

. . . even most liberals would acknowledge that the "Nuclear supermarket" uncovered in Pakistan would never have been discovered had it not been for Libya's Qadaffi singing like a canary - because he saw what happened to Saddam in Iraq when he even hinted that he might have and be willing to use WMD. . . . the fact that those weapons have yet to materialize does not negate the fact that the invasion of Iraq has had tremendous implications on the war against nuclear proliferation.

Don't Forget, Too, That...
...the Bush family and the bin Laden family have close business ties through the Carlyle Group. Perhaps Bush is being leant on by his wealthy Saudi friends to leave well alone. Which would also explain why Iraq was attacked partly in a 9/11 pretext when, in fact, eleven of the 9/11 hijackers were Saudi nationals.
