Thank you so much for your kind words. I think you have put my mind at enough ease that I can fall asleep now sans the tears I was counting on.... I hope you are right, and I suppose there is always the chance that he--or I, too, could change- despite how insistant I am right now and how resistant he is... I think that is great advice... I will try to stop making it such a big issue. Thank you so much--it means a lot!

People change over time. I don't know how old he is, but even he doesn't realize how much he will change as the years go by. I think you should stop talking about it with him, stop thinking about it, stop crying about it and just go have fun with someone you love. Let that other stuff go. No one knows if there will even BE a tomorrow. Maybe he'll be sitting around a friend's house one day in a couple of years and the friend's wife is pregnant and the guys are talking about it and suddenly your man realizes he really wants children after all. This is quite possible. But you need to stop pushing it and making it an issue. --Just my opinion, for what it's worth.
