Goodbye old friends
and tarot reading forcasted death somewhere around me (angiek's), if I'm not mistaken (for it was like 6 mths ago). I only recently found out that my friend died after christmas. That was about a month after her reading if memory serves me right. Without going into sad details, I recalled the tarot reading angie did and thought, "damn, that reading was right!' blogit subscription ends soon, I signed up on the yearly plan - last year i'd love to hear from some of you - feel free to email me....

Jamaican Boy Saved in U.S.
A Pennsylvania organization brought a Jamaican boy here to save his life. He was born with Blue Baby Syndrome, a congenital heart disease. Most babies born with this do not live past two unless fixed and even then there is no guarantee. The hospital nearby me performed heart surgery on the boy, who was between 6-8 years old. Apparently, his activity has been limited to playing video games. For reasons I did not catch, it was not possible for the mom to have the surgery in Jamaica. Her trip and...

Preponderance
What makes you click? Is it when you feel a 'click' with the writer? Do you go in search of companionship or to read something interesting/ I know sometimes we click just too see how our friend is doing. When you think of something to write about do you stop and write down the idea, lest you forget it? Considering your audience is what any good writer does. This does not mean that we should write what we think will be easily accepted. It means we play with our words like we'd play an instrument....

Long time
I have missed my blogging friends. Had a dream about wordsmith. She was as beautiful a woman in my dream as she assuredly is in real life. I think she was on TV regarding blogit in my dream. Speaking of, glad I paid for a year last year;)- Prices doubled. Sharing crazy thought; if Ariala was on TV for Blogit would she remember to mention me? The crazed lesbian with the mission of tearing down Ariala's homophobe wall:) In my months away, I realized what blogit is good for. It's nice to release...

A somewhat new blogger posts good thoughts and questions...
Devilinme1 in his post What a Wonderful World We Live In http://www.blogit.com/Blogs/Blog.aspx/demoninme1/ raises good questions about judgment, he feels truth is the core. I got a bit side tracked in my comment; - "Very well said! confrontations are more difficult for some than others for various reasons. I think we should all work on it, since we will all have them - thereby with practice, maybe confrontations won't be so bad anymore. I think the pit of confrontation fear lies in the social...

My mom is always good for jokes..
WOMEN'S REVENGE "Cash, check or charge?" I asked, after folding items the woman wished to purchase. As she fumbled for her wallet I noticed a remote control for a television set in her purse. "So, do you always carry your TV remote?" I asked. "No," she replied, " but my husband refused to come shopping with me, so I figured this was the most legal evil thing I could do to him." UNDERSTANDING WOMEN (A MAN'S PERSPECTIVE) I know I'm not going to understand women. I'll never understand how you can...

Calling all READERS; a 3,000+word essay+
How is ethics a source of hope, and hope a source of ethics? Ethics are standards and principles depicted by responsible and acceptable social behavior. Hope is anticipating with desire, a fulfillment of good expectations or success. Ethics are built and based on hopes. Winston Churchill said, "we shape our buildings; thereafter they shape us." The strength of desire for goodness will influence ethical progress. Without a hope for decency, ethics would not exist. There can be no hope without...

If u were president
wouldn't you say, "I am the American President, and I approved this message." Like anyone watching the tube doesn't know who the fluck he is anyway. What is up with the approving message shit anyway? I thought Bush was a cocky dumbass last night and anyone voting for him should have their head examined. If you were president, would you have brought Saadam Hussein back here? He should have been tortured for info then killed.

How friendly are ppl where u live?
It seems in the area of my college, people are not too concerned with other people or their feelings. Where I live, people are nice and less rude. This is a difference of friendliness seperated by only 25 miles. The college of course is not in the country, but Williamsport is not exactly city either. As an older college student, the surface people at school are really getting to me. Why can't ppl be more open and receptive? Concerned and unselfish? Less rushed and more relaxed? ahg..how is it in...

What is the deal?
When I first came here, I thought it was the coolest. Here is what I liked: Non-judgemental place to write and actually get feedback. Reading some posts is like diving into another's life. There are many good things still but it seems there is a pettiness that wasn't there before. Perhaps because I chose to ignore it at first. Like shows on TV, if you don't want to watch don't click. nonetheless, we are exposed to some infantile titles at times. This place is WHAT WE MAKE IT! Is money so...

Remember
It is a good idea to review your blogs. Because I have less time to post, I reduced my blogs to 5. Almost deleted my Paradoxical Poetry but couldn't. Does anyone remember my old blogs? If you can recall a blog of mine which I deleted, I will give you 5 clicks (my dist. pd. ends soon;)- REviewing your blogs is good not just for downsizing but also reflection. My favorite spot for this is of course my poetry because it is there I find nice release and peace. I have been popping in and I have to...

Single vs. Married, pros and cons
Tammy, is married with three kids. She told me she often feels single, like she does everything and the husband contributes financially. My sister has also said this. Val, says she doesn't need a man and could probably do better without one, but her patterns say otherwise. Are these women looking at me and wondering how I do it, if they could do it, envying me in some ways? Whatever the case, each situation has its pros and cons. My mom raised 5 kids herself with the help of great parents,...
