She Kept All These In Her Heart

She held him in her arms thirty or so years ago wond'ring how he would be when he grows up to be a man. But until then she'd nourish him and bathe him and make certain that he sleeps comfortably at night. Three years ago he left the house "Father's business, he said." He had grown wise and strong...
