What's a parent to do?
My kids are so commited to their sport, I barely can get them to do anything else. Their motivation is intrinsict and I guess that they just are naturally competative. Could they get some of this competition from the media? Hmmm.

Long Road to the Olympics
What does it really take for a young girl to make it to the Olympics? My daughter trains every day: works out off ice and on the track, is on the ice every day. sometimes twice. During the summer she trains with pros and goes to every clinic possible. Between this she goes to school and finds time...

They lost in the Semi Finals, but got the Bronze!
It was close: 2-1 until the game was cinched in the last minute...their opponent scored on an open net! Hoever, they lost that game to the team that went on to win the National Title! The final game score was 4-0...a shut out! My daughter's team had a better game with the champs than the Silver...
