Busy...busy...busy...
Well, this past week has been crazy...I have mainly just been trying to keep on top of everything that is necessary...and have been so tired at night that I have been dropping...my eyes too tired to stare at the computer and blog... The ERD came back...and it was approved...so I will be going back...

Kids say the darndest things...
The past few days I have been having some problems with my neighbors...I have pretty much ignored the whole thing because I am not a nice person when I get angry...and as I had not done anything to them to provoke the name calling and high-school style behavior...I simply told my oldest daughter...

"Blue-eyed" monster....
My youngest has just started to be jealous and possessive. She is a little over two, so this stage was expected. She has been rather clingy about me...and doesn't like it when I leave the house...or leave her with a friend...I hear about it when I leave and when I get back--although she is fine...

Keep your eyes open...at least on one side...
I think that the key to relationships....to parenting...to life... is to keep your eyes open... In order to avoid the traps that life seems to throw in our paths...or to see how your children are feeling--if they need help in one way or another....you need to see what is happening around you.......

Opinions are out to get me...
Everyone seems to have an opinion on everything these days...and even if they do not know you at all...they feel the need to impress their opinion on you..(because obviously theirs is the only correct opinion)... I see this as a pet owner...as a neighbor...as a parent...and as a wife...no matter...

To believe or not believe in Santa...
I think that the magic of Christmas should be preserved as long as possible for children. Believing in Santa and the whole Christmas experience is a part of childhood that should be enjoyed and not cut short...My oldest still believes and I want her to keep believing as long as she can... Back to the basics...

I am not me anymore...
...at least I think that is what one gate guard thought as he was checking my ID the other day. He looked at the front...then at the back (which they are supposed to do..) then he looked at me...back at the front of the card...back at me...then back at the ID...at which point I said..."I have lost...

Chain letters and spam...
