Rainbows in the mist

At the foot of the nearly-400 steps into the Canyon, the view of the Lower Falls is spectacular--especially if you're there at the right time of day, the right angle... Wolf or Coyote?

Saw this critter in Yellowstone... about 100 yards from the road, seemed to be intent on a small-game hunt. Next time I'm going for the camera with the 18x optical zoom--this is only 10x optical, plus whatever faux (digital) zoom I could get out of it. so--Is this a member of one of Yellowstone's... Trails for TAPS: Down into the Canyon

There is a trail that parallells the rim of the Canyon of the Yellowstone. I went as far as the junction with Uncle Tom's Trail.
