We were so lucky! We had a flat tire this morning!
It could have been last night in the thunderin' rain alongside I-70... Could have happened out on the ranch road miles from anywhere, where we drove out to exercise the lens... Could have been on a mountain road on a sharp turn... But it was about 100 feet before a truck turn-out, which was less...

And more good news...
The judges at the Thurston Co Fair awarded recognition to 3 of my 6 submissions: The aerial shot of Utah won a second and the Superintendant's Award. The Mesa Verde Ladder also won a second place ribbon. Forest Madonna won a first place blue ribbon. Very pleased, here!

bad news and good news
Well, the new laptop did not work out. It was possessed, first of all: could not get Fred Meyer out of it! Second, it was insane: it was installed with VISTA. So it had to go back.
