Ambleside and the Drunken Duck
Today we drove over to the Lake District in Cumbria. We didn't go hiking, the weather was threatening rain--though it never came--so we visited the cottage of Beatrix Potter (photos only in the gardens, but what gardens!) then had lunch at a pub called The Drunken Duck where I ate the best corned...
