Elections! Objections!

I am so happy that everyone has voted and we finally know who is in and who is out. I am happy that Arlen Specter is out! (Dem-Pa) I was born in Pa and had grew up there most of my life. I had the rare occasion to meet the man. I didn't find him all that great. I could tell he was a person who didn't like to tell the truth. I must say I proudly voted. I chose to vote for the folks that are honest, sincere and really want to change and help get us out of all this crap we are in. I really don't understand the "tea party" thing. Are the British coming? In all seriousness, when I casted my vote yesterday, I didn't vote because of the party I am in. I voted for honesty, integrity, and sincerity. As a proud American I have a strong objection to allowing a party or a person dictate to me who I should or shouldn't vote for. I personally would like to have this country going in a better direction.  Health care is a good start. Bailing out these huge corporations, not so good. Are we doing enough for Haiti and New Orleans? My cousin is in the Marines. I have a brother in law that is in the Air Force. My husband was in the Navy. I would like to see the troops come home soon. I would like to see military wives and families get the respect and assistance they deserve. When our men and women come back from being so brave in their duties. I would like to see someone make sure their Mental and Physical health are looked at and treated immediately. Where is the vocational rehab for our troops? If we spent less time trying to be greedy and be # 1 and more time concentrated on what this country needs, what the people really want.  Why can't we solve to eradicate homelessness or hungary Americans.  This would be a good start. Any objections?
