Don't compromise....
ever. Well, almost never. But when it comes to your best conceived ideas, works and demands, stand your ground. Compromise is the road to mediocrity. Every time bend to someone else's will your ideas get diluted. If people don't like it, that's too bad. They probably didn't understand it to begin...

look inward
because everything else will lead you astray. and is probably SYDN (shit you dont need.) Most businesses self destruct because they worry too much about the market, competitors, pink elephants, and naysayers. all that energy should be focused inward on creating value in their own product and...

Entrepeneurs are sexy
As dead sexy as they are, I don't ever want to be one. I'd rather be small businessman. The difference between an entrepeneur and a small business owner is that small business owners are in business because they want to be. Entrepeneurs are in business for the money. I opened my web shop because I...

i hate marketing
oh how do i hate marketing, and marketers, for that matter. At least, the vast majority. Because they're the dude{ttes}s who, in college, thought that this would a quick and easy major. {mostly so they could spend more time at the bars, or at some frat...zing} However, the fact of the matter is that...

Currency
...is defined as blah blah blah I'm really too drunk to look it up...and no one cares anyway, and if there was a link here, no one would click on it. But when you really think about it, currency is being exchanged everywhere, with everything, and with no one taking out their wallet/purse/man bag....

Where the hell have I been?
Around. And we'll leave the answer at that. After being beaten senseless with interviews for a few days, I'd had all the soul baring I could handle and took a break from the wide world of Blogit. But just to follow up, I got the internship, haven't heard from the headhunters, and am waiting with...

Status Check
Status - pronounced "state-us", in this case referring to the state of us. Us referring to me{ _the_staggering_genius_ } and the frat...bro. I changed my status the other nite. From Undergrad to Alumni. I had to call the guy referred to as Noose{short for his last name, not because he hangs people}....

Raked over the coals
The past four days have been hellish, if anything. Last friday I interviewed for an internship at a local IT company. It's the first interview I've been on in a few years. I had to pull out the formal wear, dust off the old resume, and brush up the conversation skills. I also had to shower. Haven't...

Striped Poles Get You a Better Haircut than Club Music
Yesterday I got my hair cut at a true barber shop. The classic barber shop is a quickly disappearing sight. When I first needed a haircut at Rutgers, there weren't too many choices. The two salons within walking distance were definitely not for me. At one, there was a dude with a mohawk taking...
