I have had a terribly difficult time since my mother-in-law passed, but we promised to go back to the nursing home and visit the friends (both residents and staff) we made there. The best thing I ever did was become a mother. My cat is seriously insane! I named him Peter James because he needs all the help he can get to keep my husband from killing him. He doesn't seem to understand he is a cat. My bank account was hacked into (to the tune of $631) and I had to report my card as stolen, change my account and wait to be issued a new number. I was a Girl Scout Leader for both my youngest daughters troops for 9 years. I loved it but, honestly, if I never see another Girl Scout cookie for the rest of my life, it's all right with me! One of our favorite places to visit is Pioneer Village in Minden, Nebraska. It's a really interesting place with 50,000 pieces of Americana history and industry on 20 acres in 26 buildings.
