ANOTHER POEM I PENNED DAY AFTER 9/11

WE SHALL STAND! Staggered but not fallen, the stars still in our eyes! The stripes across our backs become our banner in the sky! Our fighting spirit won us our freedom years ago And WE SHALL STAND forever, despite this glancing blow! Freedom was attacked in a most cowardly way. They never saw the... Sign in to see full entry.

My boy that lives in Colorado Springs is a rock climber. Man,he scares me sometimes! I climb with him occasionally but my mid-section is prohibitive. Can't always reach the rock! True Acts for living a more full life.

The Catholic church sponsored some sort of husband/wife retreat and the theme of this retreat is "True Acts". I was asked to write a poem along those lines for a lady that was going to one of the retreats. It is as relevant to us all as it is to them! TRUE ACTS ADORATION is much more than simply how... NATIVE AMERICAN POETRY

A man challenged me to write a Native American poem that had to start with the words "We will meet the enemy...". He was surprised and quite pleased with the results. I admire all our Native Americans and wish we could go back to the time when this country was run their way. In particular I admire... Sign in to see full entry.
