How about cutting $87 billion out of the tax cuts for the rich?

President Bush asked for another $87 billion Sunday night to fund his ill advised and unnecessary war in Iraq. While we have already spent over $100 billion making war on the unfortunate country it is likely that the $87 billion more will be just another downpayment on what could turn out to be a 20... If you do the math, Bush's figures add up to financial disaster. The culprit is tax cuts for the rich. It seems Bush and the Republicans never met a tax cut for the rich that they didn't love. The result: 10 to 20 years downstream will be bankruptcy for Social Security, Medicare and the US Treasury.
