Rightwingers I have known are quite similar to their more infamous ilk who currently run the US government and dominate the mass media with TV or radio talking heads or newpaper political pundits. About this Blog

60% of Americans didn't vote in the last election. Most Americans don't think it matters which politician wins office. Given a choice of an informative and important TV show like NOW with Bill Moyers or a sit-com or another cop show on TV, the overwhelming majority would opt for TV-lite. The result is a government that is not responsive to or the needs or wants of the American people. Citizenship is more than an occasional vote.
