Do you vote your self interest?

If you are not a billionaire and you vote Republican, you are not voting your self-interest. Without going into all the details (which I will should there be sufficient requests) here is the short list as to why voting Republican is like electing slow suicide: 1. About this Blog

Why is it that anyone who deviates from the governments position on the war is subject to calumny and reprisals? In a democratic society, especially one with a Constitution that supposedly protects free speech, shouldn't anyone who condemns or punishes those who speak their mind be pariahs?
