The Parent's Curse
We each raise our children following society norms. We teach them to follow the rules of the house that will translate to following the laws of our country. Upon alighting from the time out chair, the discussion was why time out had taken place. The next question was what is my job as a parent with the correct response being: "So I'll grow up and be a good citizen and stay out of jail."
