A Walk Among the Stones
This is a poem I write for a voodoo doll poetry contest. When ask if the walker was seeking relief through death, it dawned on me that this describes what those of us with fi bro go through. I belong to fibro support groups on facebook and the wish for death or even suicide is commented on daily. Walk Among the Stones Whispers travel through the leaves Reaching ears unseen Words spoken over graven image Smoke blown in the ear Eyes wide Gripped in fear Blessed in chicken blood A limp appeared...
