Though I Speak With the Tongues of Angels, But Have Not Love, I am Nothing

The following is another passage from the Essene Gospel of Peace, Book 1. The Essenes, for those not aware, were a Judaic religious group that flourished from the 2nd century B.C. through the 1st century A.D. I found this passage to be a very powerful statement about Love as the key to all happiness. And it's interesting to note how close the closing of this passage is to 1 Cor. 13:13: "Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am become as sounding brass or a...
