I Think it was the Moon

The moon shone bright as the sun; My breath could barely be seen. I crossed the corned snow with sleek efficiency. Nearby, hidden in the pines, an owl hoots, I nod and think; ‘Just passing through on this peaceful night.’ [I shake the reins]. Delightful moon lit trek, soft canter and horse drawn...
