A couple of days ago I watched Clint Eastwood's The Gauntlet. Basically a corrupt police commissioner with heavy organized crime involvement orders the officers in the department to form a gauntlet and fire their weapons at Clint and Sondra Locke who are trying to make it to the courthouse....
