Celebrations

We had a great service this morning in St. Wilfred's, our smallest church. It only seats around fifty people, so is small and intimate. Under Seige In Rocking Rectory

Yes, we're under seige, being attacked both without and within. Externally by a swarm of huge striped insect thingys (I'm convinced they're killer bees from Africa, but Ed swears they're hornets) who have taken up residence in one of our air bricks. Movers And Shakers In The Aisles

God's Waiting Room

This morning I visited Jim in the hospital. Poor old fella. He's 95 and a veteran of Dunkirk with a chestful of medals and his eyes fill up whenever there's any mention of the war. The Fallout Has Started

The fallout has started,as I knew it would when Freddie stumbled out of last week's PCC meeting muttering "Excuse me!" but avoiding eye contact with everyone and never looking back. A Country Wedding

I've had a card from the mother of the bride, thanking me for the wedding I took last week. They all enjoyed it. But best of all, apparently the guests loved my shoes.
