Again, it is making news about how people are dropping off dogs and cats, even possums, as well as other animals at our animal control. Why? It's quite simple for me, really. Don't get me wrong. I still love dogs, in fact I have two (and I have five cats along with "don't ask how many" fosters) precious Japanese Chin. Normally I am all about asking people to pray for our fur babies and for fellow rescuers. Today--- please pray for the People of Virginia Tech and all their family and friends. Friday night took up to Flatonia, about an hour and 1/2 away to pick up two kitties rescued from shelters in and around Houston. Lately we have had such wonderful adoptions and our numbers were going down. Oh,,, a rest, a respite, a BREAK. Break's over. Persians win What was the contest you query? It was who is the easier to medicate and who is less vocal, let me rephrase that, which is less STRIDENTLY vocal. Last night we went and picked up 11, yes 11 exotics and two Burmese kittens from a retiring breeder. Why did we do so? we received an *update* email from a previous adopter last week. We love those update emails and look forward to the pictures so many of them send.
