LIVING ONE'S FAITH IS EASIER SAID THAN DONE
T his past week I’ve learnt how difficult it is to live one’s beliefs. The Bible talks about speaking to others in such a way as to encourage and not tear down. It talks about edifying people and speaking to them nicely so that they can see that you are living what you believe, but it sure isn’t...

NEVER TRUST AN ENEMY
Sirach 12:10-12, 15-17 Never trust an enemy; his wickedness is as destructive as rust. Watch out, and be on guard against him, even if he acts ever so humble. He is like a metal mirror that rusts away if you don’t keep it polished. Seat an enemy at your right hand, and the next thing you know, he’ll...

HE MAKES ALL THINGS BEAUTIFUL...IN HIS TIME.....
T here are times when I wonder about the number of my blessings that have been aborted because I did not pray enough for them to be born or to come to fruition. Time and again I talk to God about particular situations in my life. I pray about them for a while and then I stop. Perhaps because I’m not...

DO THE DEARLY DEPARTED PAY US VISITS?
I know that evil spirits exist. I have come in contact with them during the past ten years. I have had the experience of them being in my house because they were sent there. They were bound and cast out. You may wonder how it is that these things happen. To make a long story short, it is part of our...

WHAT'S YOUR TAKE ON FORGIVENESS?
Matthew 6:12 "And forgive us our debt, as we forgive our debtors." 1 John 1: 9-10 "If we confess our sins; He who is faithful and just will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make God out to be a liar, and His word is not in us." Having...

WHAT DOES GOD REQUIRE OF US?
Micah 6:8 "No, the Lord has told us what is good. What he requires of us is this: to do what is just, show constant love, and to live in humble fellowship with our God." Many of us say that living the Christian life is so hard and I believe that to a certain extent. Particularly, when there are...

I HAVE LOVED YOU AND YOU ARE MINE!
Romans 11:29 “For God does not change His mind about whom He chooses and blesses.” How awesome it is to know that God has chosen us specifically to serve him. Having chosen us, we are his forever, no matter the circumstances. We may stray, lose our way, deliberately decide to turn our back on God,...

OUR UNCHANGING GOD!
Can it be said that we take God for granted? Certainly. God is always there. We do not always remember that we are in His presence, but we live in the knowledge that He is there anytime we choose to call on him. We know that He is as unchanging as His word and we therefore, rest secure in this...

INTERCESSORY PRAYER
A little more than a month ago, a friend of mine gave me a tract to read. It spoke about intercessory prayer and talked about a crusade that was going to be about a month later. I didn’t go to the crusade, wherever it was, but I did use the idea the tract suggested. The idea is to select 3-5 people...

UNQUESTIONING FAITH
The people of faith in the Bible never cease to inspire me. I think my faith is weak. I find myself doubting way too often because of my situation. Take Elisha in 2 Kings 6, 1-7. A borrowed axe falls into the river Jordan. The Prophet who as using said axe becomes hot and bothered about losing it....
