A Time for Dying
Oh, What sweet sorrow does impasse this mortals frail existence. Will we ever know? Alas, I feel no more resistance. My body seems to slip away, the soul does not reproach; for Paradise will not delay, and time, it will encroach. Sign in to see full entry.

The Four Horsemen
Riding swift, men start to hate, ignoring Red warnings of what is to come. Man against man. Child against child. Black strikes hard. Hungry women in the streets. A beggar here, a beggar there, a dirty slum infested. Beware, comes White. People dying in the street, afraid to breath, clinging to life,... Sign in to see full entry.

Heartache
I saw no reason to forgive. My life, for now, is mine to live. I gave my heart, I gave my soul... what once was part was then made whole. Now once again, I am so alone. Left by my love, on my own. At night I hear the lone wolf cry, it echoes the way I feel inside. Sign in to see full entry.

Dusk Arising
The setting sun blazes like fire. The quiet river sidles by. Darkness now, rising higher. Breeze is blowing like a sigh. Crickets starting to converse as starlight plays above. Last daylight starts to disperse and stays the cooing of the dove. Sign in to see full entry.

The Secret of Time
I wrote this one back in high school. In fact, most of the poems you will read here were written in my sophomore and junior years of high school. I had a wonderful English teacher who made us keep a daily journal of our thoughts (for a grade) and I thank her for it. The nuances of time. How complex... Sign in to see full entry.

Sweet Surrender
I wrote this poem after reading a particularly wonderful romance novel by Catherine Coulter called Sweet Surrender a LONG time ago. Your body feels warm against my own, your lips so soft and tender. The flickering firelight in your eyes, my body's sweet surrender. koriani Sign in to see full entry.
