The Lost Ones By: Trinity Bernhardt They are lost even in the midst of a crowd One can stare into their eyes, yet see nothing Their children are stepped on like bugs in the street Who are these, who are here yet gone all at once? Why can we not just reach out and bring them home? Why has hope forsaken them? Is it I who has allowed them to fall from grace? Did I lock the door and banish them?
